One of the most challenging aspects of a saltwater aquarium is keeping the corals alive. In the Fish Only System there are no live corals, this results in a less demanding aquarium.
In a fish-only system, we don’t have to monitor the specific water parameters that live corals need. One of the main advantages of choosing this type of custom aquarium is that we can choose from several species that normally eat live coral, such as puffer fish, sharks and larger predatory fish.
Saltwater aquariums are visually mesmerizing, and have a calming & soothing effect.
Fishing with live coral requires extensive knowledge of the Liquid Habitat team, as both pets and corals rely on very specific light and water requirements.
A reef aquarium requires sufficient intense lighting, turbulent water movement and more stable water chemistry than a marine aquarium with only fish and careful consideration is given to which reef animals are appropriate and compatible with each other.
